![]() Having any public portfolio is better than nothing. Limiting yourself to code which isn't always clean, easy to read, & fun. Kaggle is awesome, but I wouldn't host my portfolio there. GitHub is ugly, difficult to navigate, & tough to digest. ![]() GitHub is a code hosting & version control software, not a portfolio software. It's a Tableau portfolio at best, and there's much more to data then dashboards. I love Tableau Public, but it doesn't count as a data analytics or data science portfolio. But they don't allow for multiple images in a single project. Same as Maven, beautiful portfolios, simple to set up. When you post a project, you typically want to include 5+ images. It's getting better, but their project write up tool is just not mature enough. Your profile is your portfolio & each project is an article. Using Medium is a great option if you want to get started right away. They allow for a landing page with a display of all projects & then a deep-dive into each. You can easily set up a portfolio using SquareSpace or Wix. It's putting your projects in a place they'll easily get seen. Writing LinkedIn articles & hosting them on your profile in the featured section is underrated. They're beautiful, customizable, & allow for full fledge write-ups.
